The week in public sector tech: the biggest tenders and awards (10/05)

This is the latest instalment of a weekly feature analysing the UK’s biggest public sector tech deals. In partnership with data analysis firm Tussell, we drill down into the top ten most valuable tenders and awards from the previous week, and take stock of which tech firms have won the biggest share of the public sector pie.

The top 10 tenders

The biggest tender of the week is an all-Wales framework for the provision of agile digital and ICT resources. The framework is worth £120m and firms have until 7 June to submit their applications.

The top 10 awards

It might not be the biggest award of the week, but the most eye-catching is Westminster City Council’s deal with telecoms infrastructure provider Ontix. The firm will deploy Small Cell Equipment on street lighting and other street furniture to boost mobile coverage within the borough. The deal is worth nearly £21m.
