Your cloud journey – where next?

The move from the on-premise computing infrastructure to
the cloud is established and to many enterprises it’s a given. At
least, it’s a given in principle.

The reality is nowhere near as straightforward. As any IT
professional will understand, deciding to move an app or some
data from premise into the cloud involves a lot of decisions
and compromises. Should everything be moved - and is this
even possible? Frequently the architectures of on-premise and
cloud are incompatible, and this is before anyone has decided
whether to go for public, private or hybrid cloud solutions.

New Statesman Tech will be talking to experts from Skytap
about how to modernise an infrastructure whilst maintaining
the maximum availability speed and uptime. We will welcome
senior decision makers and technologists to talk through their
IT pain points with the experts on how to address the move or
partial move to computing and workloads in the 21st century.
