Buyer: Foreign and Commonwealth Office
Title: Framework: Network integration services as part of the ECHO2 Programme
The lowdown: The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has issued the biggest tender of the week: a £184m framework for network integration services. “The services will connect ministerial headquarters and other head offices in the UK with their respective embassies, consulates and other office locations, totaling approximately 532 sites in 180 countries,” the contract notice states. Vendors who win a place on the framework will not be guaranteed work, but the FCO says “significant elements are expected to be called off when the framework agreement is awarded (or very shortly thereafter)”. The deadline for applications is 13 July.
