The biggest govtech deals of the week (23/9/19)

Prior information notices

The largest prior information notice of the week comes from the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, which has unveiled plans to buy electronic procurement software. The software, the notice states, will cover “all parts of the end to end buying and contract management process” and is worth up to £5m.

NHS North Hampshire CCG has issued a £17m tender for IT for GP practices. The contract will provide the means for a fully integrated IT service for eight clinical commissioning groups in Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight. It’s worth up to £17m and will remain in place for five years.

Trustmarque Solutions has won the largest award of the week: a £57.5m contract to provide new Microsoft enterprise licenses to the Ministry of Justice. The contract was awarded on 1 June and will expire in May 2022. It’s not clear how much of a cut Trustmarque will take home from the deal.
