The lowdown: The professional services giant KPMG has secured the largest award that was unveiled last week: a £7.5m deal to develop and build a new regulatory platform for the Care Quality Commission. The contract covers high-level solution, functional and technical design, as well as data architecture provision and a number of other services. It came into effect on 21 August and will remain in place for at least two years.
