Prior information notices

The largest prior information notice of the week comes from the Cabinet Office, which has unveiled plans to create a new “pan public sector” framework for office machinery. The framework is estimated to be worth up to £900m and will provide the means for organisations to procure a range of machines, including printers and photocopiers, from a list of approved suppliers.

The Cabinet Office has asked prospective vendors to email RM6174MFD@crowncommercial.gov.uk, quoting “RM6174”.

Tenders

Norfolk County Council has issued the single biggest tender of the week: a £17m contract to manage the transformation of its HR and finance systems. Prospective suppliers have until 7 October to apply.

Awards

Softcat has won the largest deal announced last week: £20m contract to supply the Department for Health with a public cloud cost management service. The contract was awarded in April and will run for two years.
