Prior information notices

The largest prior information notice of the week comes from the Crown Commercial Service, which has unveiled plans to create a new “pan-government” framework for automation services. The framework is estimated to be worth up to £80m and will provide the means for departments to procure a range of services, including robotic process automation, natural language processing, cognitive automation and “elements of AI”, according to the notice.

Bristol City Council has issued one of the biggest tenders of the week: a £12m contract to manage the supply and maintenance of CCTV and fibre broadband. Prospective suppliers have until 15 November to apply.

The Scottish Government has launched a cloud services framework valued at up to £30m. A total of 14 suppliers have been listed on the framework, which covers a range of cloud products including public, private, hybrid and community cloud, as well as transition services.
