Prior information notices

The housing developer Thirteen has unveiled plans to procure a range of cyber security services, including end-to-end cyber incident response assistance and a cyber threat intelligence programme. “We are looking to work in collaboration with a company that will understand not only the risks to Thirteen as an organisation but to the housing sector as a whole,” it said. The bid deadline is 21 May.

Tenders

One of the biggest tender of the week comes from the Scottish Government, which is launching a single supplier framework for the provision of server and infrastructure maintenance services. The deadline for applications is 29 May and the framework is worth up to £5m.

Awards

HCL won one of the largest contracts published last week: a £41m deal to supply the University of Manchester with end-user computing services. “This will include the implementation of Windows 10, Office 365 (exchange/home drives) and virtualisation,” the notice states. “The University is also seeking to modernise and rationalise the End User Computing services to increase efficiency and reduce operating costs.” The contract was awarded at the end of April. An end date has not been specified.
