Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium has unveiled plans to launch an IT accessories framework worth £60m. The framework will enable universities from across the UK to procure a range of hardware and software, including screens, security products and cabling.

The biggest tender of the week comes from NHS Shared Business Services, which is launching a £100m framework for medicines management software. The framework “supports trusts with software that allows for clear and concise suggestions of more effective, safer or cost effective medicines and medical devices”, the notice states. The deadline for applications is 5 July.

Inoapps has secured the largest award announced last week: a deal to provide the University of Edinburgh with a software as a service financial management tool. The contract was awarded in April and is worth more than £20m.
