Thames Water has issued the biggest tender of the week: a £10m, eight-year framework for information and data management services. Prospective suppliers have been invited to apply by 22 January.

Prior Information Notices

The University of the West of Scotland published an eye-catching prior information notice last week relating to artificial intelligence. The university has been commissioned by the Scottish government to assess the AI capabilities of software suppliers which could assist with decision making in NHS Scotland. “This market sounding exercise will contribute to shaping the next phase of the national Knowledge and Decision Support Programme,” the tender states. Top five awards

The Crown Commercial Service has awarded up to £3.6m to Epiq Systems to help process and host the thousands of documents gathered as part of the Grenfell Tower inquiry. The contract is a call-off from the government’s G-Cloud framework and will last two years.
