Top five tenders
The Financial Conduct Authority has issued the biggest tender of the week: a framework valued at up to £150m for cloud-computing and technology resourcing. Prospective suppliers have been invited to apply to be listed on the framework, which will remain open for four years, by 18 February.

It might not be the biggest PIN of the week, but it is arguably the most eye-catching; Transport for London is overhauling its iBus project – the open data system that provides real-time information about the location of buses – and is undertaking a feasibility study to “assess potential options for replacing” the existing operation.

Top five awards
BT has won one of the biggest awards of the week: a £9m contract to supply hard-to-reach areas of Wales with superfast broadband. In a notice, the government said: “The potential value of the project is up to £200m, of which £62m of funding has been confirmed, and up to an additional £138m of project funding may be available.”
