Top five tenders
Stoke-on-Trent City Council has issued the biggest tender of the week: a £10m contract to supply Etruria Valley, a business park in Staffordshire, with a fibre broadband network. Bidders have until 22 October to apply for the contract, which starts on 24 November and lasts six months.

Top five awards
Consultancy giant Accenture has won a £29m contract to provide a “video enabled justice programme” to police forces and courts across the south east of England. The programme has been commissioned by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex and aims to modernise the courts system, enabling officers, vulnerable victims and key witnesses to provide evidence over video link.
A spokesperson for Sussex PCC told NS Tech the system would “provide swifter and greater access to justice, cost savings and improved user experience”. The contract is an extension of an initial £5m deal, and is expected to run until the delivery date: March 2023.
