Tees Valley Combined Council has issued the biggest PIN of the week – a £2.4m contract for delivery partners to support the local authority in rolling out full fibre and superfast broadband across the Tees Valley. The deadline for the bid is 6 August.

Tenders

The biggest tender of the week comes from Yorkshire & Humber Police Procurement, which is launching a £40m for framework for forces in Yorkshire and the Humber region to procure IT hardware. Prospective suppliers are advised to apply by 1 August.

Awards

The Department for Education has signed a £25.7m deal with CDW Limited for cloud computing services. The deal incorporates the department’s provision of virtual machines from Microsoft’s cloud computing division Azure. The contract began at the beginning of July and will run for three years.
